The lock worked on the first try. This device really turns ideas into reality.

I just wish it would be possible to print <0.2mm layers or a detail-mode that slows down even more. If one of the future updates will somehow take care of the gaps ( viewtopic.php?p=5713#p5713 ) It would be great, but not sure if it is even possible without smudging it.

That's insanely small, how long does it take you to assemble the typewriter

Strangely the typewriter was very easy to clean and assemble (and quickly printed, too)!
The wool winder for example has fewer mechanics and was tedious to assemble and glue (had to let things dry, fixate, hold...)

Basically you take one "slice", put the two wheels/gears on the axis, then the type hammer and the key.
Only the long type hammer tends to fall out, but as soon as you place the next slice/layer ontop, it will stay in place.

After you prepared your typewriter sandwich, add a few drops of instant glue to the edges, press down for a minute, and it's ready to use.
I thought of adding a base to press-fit (similar to the wool winder's lid) but it works good as it is and does not require so much accuracy as long as the roll stays in place it's all good.
