Yazzo Parameterized Swing Arm

Unfortunately my camera battery is dead, so no picture. I created this thing to stick on the end of a motor shaft:

It's a couple of swing arm and linkage pieces. The thumbnail shows the most challenging piece as it has a couple of nipples stick into a tight slot, one being embedded in a 90 degree overhang. Quite a challenge for any 3D printer I would imagine. Printing it on its edge would probably make for less support structure needed.

I printed this at: .35, Loose, Normal

It took me a few minutes to dig the support structure out of there.

The cool thing about these parts is that they will snap together fairly easily to form a joint. No screws needed, and they do not pull apart too easily. This is cool for prototyping things that need such links as you don't need a lot of additional fasteners.

I actually got the idea for the nipple snaps from this thing: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5028
